New CK WW1 Allied Balloon. - Deutschmark - 17.03.2011

Here we have the new user operated Allied balloon for Canvas Knights.

I should had said the map I used here was a stock game map
And not that of a WW1 map as they are still being worked on. Smile

Looks great, though they didn't have high rise flats back then....

Incidently balloons were often hard to shoot down, in most sims I find it relatively easy but there were plenty of accounts of pilots spending a lot of ammo and still not setting one alight. Didn't they use incendiary rounds for them and weren't rockets developed to destroy them too?

Both sides used hydrogen back then in balloons so if you did get a good shot
On one it went up like the 4th of July or like the Hindenberg, rockets where used
Because it was a hazed to come in close on one in a plane as they most times
Had AA below of some kind just waiting for planes to come in low at the balloon
So rockets where used to keep the planes at a stand off from the AA below.
