Game won't reconize skins - Skraeling - 26.03.2011

My game won't recognize skins. I have no idea what's going on. Could someone help me?

My game is:
Il2 Sturmovik 1946
Version 4.09

You need to use a Program called Bright if they are skins you made, skins are also to be a 24bit bitmap with dimensions of 1024x1024.

My files are the correct format and size but I use gimp, not photoshop.

Many people are confused when it comes to gimp~You do NOT need Photoshop~

Simply drop the skin in the folder and run the Batch file and it will all be done for you, it does NOT need to be setup as a plugin for Photoshop.

and I also found out what I was doing wrong.

I wasn't converting the image back to indexed from RGB
