Mod for 4.10 - -)-MAILMAN- - 15.04.2011

Can version 4.10 have mods added without using HSFX or UP like it was in the beginning with just the sound mod then add the mods of your choosing? Specifically I have issues with certain mods that are included inside the HSFX History Mod that were not QA'd before release to the community at large.

As far as I am concerned The SEOW people can mod the game and customize it as they see fit, but if what they come up with is going to be released to the rest of the community as is, then the people in the position to do so should be making darn sure what they changed is in fact correct for the rest of us who don't fly SEOW servers and if it is not correct make the corrections before making a general release.

You can make a fully customized installation with Most Excellent Modact SAS 2.72 for 4.101:

How does this work? Does it just install the minimum files necessary to have modified game and then leave it to you to pick and choose what mods to install or does it install a bunch of files, but allow you to choose which mods to enable like in the generic mod enabler.

Do you have to use the old system of adding mods by editing files?

I am not looking to create mods, but rather pick and choose the mods I want. I no longer fly on line on Hyper Lobby Servers because of the obsession with CRT=2 being the over riding factor.

I look forward to your explanation.

This is the traditional system, you can add new mods one by one using mods folder or
with the generic mod enabler.
