How to install skins to Cliffs of Dover - Planemad - 17.04.2011
INSTALLING SKINS
Hi all this should help you install skins into Cliffs of Dover.
First you must go into the steam Library and Right-click Cliffs of dover. Click properties --> The click updates then choose Uncheck Steam Cloud Synchronisation.
Paste the skins into these folders and click yes when asked to overwrite.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\PaintSchemes\Skins
C:\Users\*******\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\PaintSchemes\Skins
Then start your game, and they should be there.

Hey, guys
That's a fun way to spend a weekend, huh?
Is the native resolution of the skin textures in CoD as 1024x1024 or did they upgrade to the vastly superior 2048x2048?
I could comb the READ-MEs, but I am too busy at this point in my busy life.

They are 2048x2048 JPG images.

Thanks, Planemad
It does seem to be obvious that they are higher resolution than IL-2 1946.
