(WIP) Northern Spain alpha - kapteeni - 09.05.2011

Here is a basic scenery of Northern Spain:

I made it using an exellent tutorial that can be found at VSF website. Importing this took only 20 mins.
Only default textures are used. No houses. I will next make some houses with Google Sketchup and import them to map.

Looks good for a start!
Now time for the airports, seaports, villages, city's and all the roads to connect them.
That should take a little longer then 20 mins... :mrgreen:

I downloaded it and will take a fly over come tomorrow and post a few photos.

That's right. VSF has a nice Automatic tool that makes nice looking farms and villages to certain textures. Like autopop tool in IL2.
Coolest thing is that one can make new houses, trees, textures easily compared to IL2
Rivers are a problem like in every flying sim...I can't make rivers running at hills...

PS. The terrain looks better than any sim ever, and the clouds and the weather system is outstanding. And VSF cost's only 30 euro's...

BTW. I will only make 1 or 2 real cities...
Maybe i will cut out a small segment of map for populating it.. We'll see.
