No auto-autopilot - supercrapnstuff - 15.05.2011

Hi, after reinstalled HSFX due to a screw up i noticed that when i switched to the gunner position it turned autopilot on, it used to never do that and i loved it, but now its gone and i need some help figuring out how to make it not turn on automaticly

Key "A".

i know what turns it on, but if i switch from a pilot to a gunner position it automaticly turns it on, pressing A there will just lock the turret
i want to know how to make that not happen

You have to go into the conf.ini and change the viewset=

switch "Autolpilot Automation" off, you may have to bind a key for that, keeps from going into autopilot when switch positions

Again....

If you want the 'Gunner Autopilot' off by default when you switch to that position, you have to change the 'ViewSet' in the conf.ini.
I believe it needs to be 36, but not sure. It's been a long time since I messed with it.

thanks, it turns out there was no "Autopilot automation" key, its just that if i hit shift-a (which says level autopilot [???]) it turns off automation
