HMS Iron Duke battle ship and HMS Furious aircraft carrier
HMS Furious was made by the other CK 3D artiest
And imported into CK by me, so give him a big thank you for

Just to make this clarified, I did not make the ships! They where made by the other two CK 3D artiest, my part was to set them up and put them into CK sim, so it was a team effort.

The other day I saw a tv program with a short piece on defending Britain from zeppelins. Apparently the navy used barges about 60' in length with wooden decks, towed behind faster vessels, as impromptu aircraft carriers. Not sure how the landing was achieved but certainly they took off in strong headwinds without too much problem, albeit risky practice. Worth noting for the sim, I think.
