working a template in photoshop elements - fritzofpeace - 30.01.2012

I've searched and found no info on this.
I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. When I open a template, on the lower right of the screen is a list of layers. Some of these layer names have a folder icon, which I believe indicates that there is a choice (or more than one) for that particular layer.
My problem? I can't extract or access or see any other layer for one of those "sets" than the one which loads on top when I open the template.
Anyone help me "open" or access those sets?
Many thanks in advance.

EDIT: Found out, no can do in Photoshop Elements. Gimp's the way to go.

Thank you, Gumpy, but Photoshop Elements doesn't give me those little arrows Sad
