Plenty of vibration and buffeting in the slipstream, but what impressed me was the smoothness of the flying (aerodynamically, not pilot induced). I expected more sensitivity to thermals. I've flown in Cessnas that bumped around more than that. Perhaps the wing loading was pretty much perfect for that weight?

Tis video isn't just nice, it's sort of... chilling. There's something in seeing that biplane flying over the fields, that actually makes me feel lighter

Now imagine, just like ol' times "wing walkers", the whole All Blacks team dancing the Haka onboard the flying Albatross!
