Bf-109 DB605 Engine: Detailed Pit Sounds - Fireskull - 17.06.2013

Hi,

Smile

Here is an amazing service that an actual Bf-109 mechanic provided in order for people to have the cockpit engine sound of the fighter and what tasks occur in sequence to change the engine thus corresponding sounds. Another person experienced with the aircraft added some details.

Notice the meaty, tough sound of the engine compared to the weak Bf-109 sounds of many flight simulations in "stock" form. We hear the rough idle and low R.P.M. irregularities of a rich fuel mix air intake without the higher supercharger stage, typical of engines designed for high performance in high speed which sacrifices idle and low R.P.M. smoothness:

Was there also the sound of the landing gear equipment?

Doesn't she sound great? Big Grin
