Sad to know about the casualties. There is a city somewhere in Germany that has several square kilometers that are forbidden to enter because of mines and unexploded bombs.

One of the TV news here said that there is a estimated 2,50,000 unexploded bombs from WW2 still here in Germany and that they still find a few hundred every year.

The bomb was apparently not excavated, but lay in the building rubble! Was probably triggered when the excavator wanted to break up the debris (shear tool on the excavator)! Very strange . . . :-?
