Full Game - Some skins won't load - bntaylor - 09.10.2014
I'm asking this here in the event that other new users experience the same phenomenon after installing the full version.
The skins (even the default ones) do not load for quite a few of the new aircraft in the full version I just installed. The graphics for the skins appear in their appropriate sub-folder, and I can select and fly the aircraft. The thumbnail images also load, so it seems that I have configured the sub-folders correctly.
What am I doing wrong?

It appears that the culprits are the aircraft that were not part of the Beta release (though the ships, tanks and trucks work fine).
Would you rather continue the troubleshooting off-line? I have your email address.

Hi Barry,
Try this first, go into game bring your mouse up to the top and go to tools icon that is settings click on it up will come a window then go to video tab click on it and make sure that ( use 24 bit depth buffer ) is checked, then close out the game restart it and pick one of them planes and tell me if that works.

I already had that selected, but re-selected anyway.
But why would some aircraft skins work while others don't?

It sounds like a graphic card issue.
I run all the CK planes on a very low end PC to make sure they work there so that I know they will work anywhere, its a XP, 1 core AMD 3.5 two gigs ram and a very mid to low end card and I run them all.
I would like to try something give me 5 mins please and I be right back here.

Been away for long time. I'm planning to buy Full version. Just few Q
:Can i make vehicles, boats and all the same stuff with CK like wit Vehicle simulator.
Like my own simple models?
And what about sceneries?
Is Canvas Knight lightened version of Vehicle Sim?
I have already made few scenerys and thingsfor Vehicle simulator. Can i use them as well?
So far i have been using beta version.
It would be nice have some screenies of UI and so..
Anyways, Great job DM and i will buy it anyway!!

NO! matter fact CK has even more then VSF as far as skin select, two sides, AA weapons that can be placed in the map folder and a full 4 stage damage model for all vehicles plus other things like engine stall a better flack burst and so on.
