You gotta learn yourself.

Look in the Quick Mission Builder.

Another option is to find missions that have been made using them.

I just reinstalled IL-2 AEP, then installed the mod installer, now the loading screen gets to 5% and crashes!? what do I do?

Mods are for IL246 patched to 4.08, is it the game you have ?

Ivan, i can tell already that you will not be able to mod new planes. You gotta spend alot of time looking through the various files to find what you want. Start off downloading the mod tools in the section here. viewforum.php?f=31

There are no tutorials, because if you can do certain things, then you can do other things aswell. With bad results.

Your best bet is to get a modder to teach you. And that is a longshot. So don't get your hopes.

You will need to have alot of patience when it come to talking with AAA community and learning how to mod. It is not easy to mod, believe me. But if you really want to learn how to mod, start a small step a time.

You will definely need to update your il-2 up to v4.08 patch before instaling mods. But very highly recommend you getting il-2 1946. These have every update and expasion packs that are released for il-2. And with il-2 1946, you only need to worry about one patch file wihch are v4.08m.

However, start doing research and learn how to do mod in small step for first time. But be warned, its not a easy task. So be prepared for facing many frsutation time modding il-2. And finally, make SURE you follow the rule and policy of AAA community when it come to modding also.
