In POW cases,what Germany did with the prisoner-of-war?!
As usual,they captured them,and put them into the POW camp.
So Germany played with fairplay,and Russian's can't???

So whatever,i'm not a german,i'm from Bulgaria.And Germany helped so much to my country in WW2,more than the stupid soviet union!
There was not even one shot fired from the bulgarians,when the russian's crossed the Dunav river,and entered in Bulgaria,from Rumania.Not shot fired,no war.Bulgaria was not in war with soviets,evem when Hitler pressed our King Boris 3-rd,we refused to war against our slavian brothers!
So whatever...when the war was over,and the allies "The winners" discussed in Berlin which country is winner,and which-looser.And USA,UK and Poland,said that Bulgaria is from the winners.BUT the russian's were those who entered in Bulgaria first,so they have to say are we winners,or from the loosing site.And the mighty fu*kin' USSR said that Bulgaria is considered as a loosing site in the war/ :lol: we weren't in war with them...how can we loose?!??!/.And we were considered as loosing,and we had to make whatever the winner USSR want to....And so on..the capitalisme/communisme/ entered in my country..
So i fly with germans,cos i hate the russian's.

With all respect to the good intentions of Magpie's original sentiment...

As perhaps an additional thought... perhaps it might be prudent to perhaps just drop the modification of the current planes - albiet they are historically more true, it seems to me that its more trouble than its worth... no matter how true to history you get...

...it misses an obvious and fundamental factor. This has already been done, it's too late to go back.

...adding things or changing things in the planes that are flyable by default is a dangerous road. Adding Mirrors to planes seemed harmless at first, but it's a slippery slope to potentially more dangerous modifications.

I think it would be in the best interest of all parties to wait a spell before changing minor things like adding mirrors and gunsights to default planes. It's definitely something that should be done at some point, but right now it would give the Antimod crowd a whole lot of fuel.

Gizmog, are you really that concerned about what the "antimod crowd" might think? Because if you are, I feel for you, for as with Magpie's sentiment above, it's just too late.

I saw that for the Ace Maker,there are introduced only 3~4 pics.And you made it available!
Now,how pics we have for the Askania EZ 42/1-A1???Tones of pics more,who proof that they were in use in '44 and '45,will you just say it from now one...Will you try to make them in future or not?
Just tell us...I don't want to hope for something that will never exist /like SoW:BoB .
And if you add it,add it for the FW-190 A-8 and D-9 /late and early too,cos in online wars,we fly only this things,in AW we can only dream for ME-262 and even Ta-151 :lol: /.

The same is for the 109's mirror,will you just tell us will you try to add it in future or not...I don't know a sh** about modding but i'll try it by my own if you guys don't want to add this extra for our planes...
We have so many picture prooves,waaay more than those for the P-51 for example,an you add the mirror for the Ponyes.And now for the 109's...So much waiting and researching.

Gringo - i never wanted the K14 in the spit, I SAID i didnt think we should do any more mods to the current planes!

preferably all of them - I've pointedly not downloaded or installed any of the Mirror mods, or gunsight mods.

I know its a tad late to NOT do it, or NOT do anymore, but if they keep them to historic mods, with evidence then perhaps...

The key factor that is being pushed with them is that as long as their historically viable or accurate...

The german gyro sight - into those that had them - yes - nothing wrong i guess.

If its going to keep happening then by all means, put the Mirror on the Emil (not the later models) put the gyro into the 262's, or what ever had them. Hell even the makers of the game where going to do it - pity about the lack of info But I suppose 'end of the war germany' wasnt exactly rife with "How to make a German Gyro Sight work in Il2:Sturmovik:1946 for Dummies" Books

But if it stops there, it would be a lot better than if it continues...
