I run 4.09m with BOE and TLD. Although I have tried modding following the sequnce you specify IL2 either fails to load completely, or goes only as far as a splash screen in Russian. Very frustrating as I want to use several of your brilliant ideas such as the Imperial HUD. Anyone any idea what I might be doing wrong, please? I am trying to mod a complete copy of my IL2 installation so at least I'm not losing my main game every time! Hints gratefully reecived by this elderly virtual pilot!

now , i would recommend installation of AAA unified mod pack cos it is the simplest/safest way for fresh mod users

notice that this must get installed over IL2 1946 4.08 game version ( not 4.09b)

please read carefully rest of install instructions ....

Many thanks for the advice. I suspect I'm going to have to backup my existing installation, delete it and start with a clean sheet to 4.08. Clearly my problem arose from 4.09m.
