Did a bit of playing and noticed that on many of the once AI aircraft that have gunners you're able to fire rounds through the aircrafts own surfaces.....Naturally as you can imagine this makes certain blind spots mute when an aircraft is live piloted so rather unrealistic to attack as usual.
Is there a thread somewhere which tells why this is, and if it was going to be corrected?
Thanks,

.... playing with "old" mods (first generation)
i don't believe anybody works on flyable AI stuff anymore ( too many restrictions..) ...."new generation" mods are here and they shouldn't have such issues

except.......this is the unified mod package. So old or not they have affect as they're in the latest and greatest.
Now my "guess" is, utilizing a gunner view and position from another aircraft might make this happen (iow, it assumes model parts placement is as old not what applied to), yet I'm not even finding that just quite simply it finds no rudder as an example. The trouble is, it allows gunners to fire at will having the ability to shoot and hit enemy aircraft they could not normally hit.

theres still mods what ever they are but there still mods
i was watching something and some plane had an interupter so it wouldnt shoot its self i think it was the B-17 but im not to sure
Well the point being, it makes points of attack impossible as live gunners can shoot without regard for the aircraft....Meaning as an example I can't attack in a blind spot as a live gunner can simply shoot through the plane.
Naturally in a competition you can see where that would be a problem.

Well, not only live gunners. Sometimes I have been shot down by an AI Bf-110 gunner shooting at not credible angles. It's a game issue...
