Zeppelin object possible?

lol

Well, I'm glad to see that at least I'm not the only one thinking about ingame Hindenburgs. In the meantime I will go about stringing together eleventy billion barrage balloons.

I too looked into the unique possibility of a Zeppelin months ago, but stopped after a while. You see, the problem lies, not in the meshes, or the FM, but in the damage model and most importantly, the visual effect of the death-throws of a dying gas bag...

So, would it be any easier to create a 'death animation' or somesuch for a static object? Would it be possible to use the effect that goes with the balloons we already have ingame?

Or am I talking nonsense about a subject I know nothing of?

Bump for the whaleships. Tongue

I'd take a crack at this myself, but I don't know the first thing about modeling or coding, nor do I have any modeling programs to begin with.

Actually the barrage and observation balloons are under Stationary Objects, down towards the end. They're arranged by height.

2nd stupid question of the day:
So, does anyone know of a tutorial anywhere about importing new objects into the FMB? Not just installing a downloaded mod, but maybe something that covers converting the model into the right format and whatnot.
