well i finally got and x52 a few months ago and i love it. however i have never figured out how to enable the little mouse pointer on it? Is there some sort of special software i need to configure it? i got if off ebay and i didnt come with any discs. any way my trackir had taken a poop on me and it will really help me out if anyone knew how to fix this. thanks.

I just got an x52 as well, I'm glad you are as happy with it as i am. You need to install the drivers for the mouse stick to work, they came with the SST software on a disk with the stick - they should be available from the Saitek Website.
Also, I would highly recommend 'Il2 joy control' which you can find at mission4today, it is a small program which allows you to adjust the input from alll the different axis on a joystick.
