As the topic say I would like to have lower enlisted and NCO ranks for the Luftwaffe.
Unlike their allied oppontens in the RAF and the USAAF the LW was very sparse with promotions and not all made it all the way up to senior NCO and officer ranks. The lowest rank that excists now in IL2
is Oberfeldwebel and I think every rank underneath that should be included.

So, anyone up for it?

You can actually do this yourself easily by going into the IL2 folder then missions > campaign > DE then finnally to the ranks folder. you can manually change them to what you feel would be more appropriate. This will not effect what you see in the briefings though, I have not figured that one out yet. It would probably be a good idea to make a copy of the original ranks folder first. Name it ranks2 or something so it does not conflict. Hope this helps!

also if you use the tool il-2 sturmovik stab 6.3 (i think you can find it on mission4today) there's an option in it to change the luftwaffe ranks to more correct ones and then change it back at the click of a button.
