Hello everyone.

The title says it all. When i started my many new slot planes, on the schedule i had at the time, they were all possible, and on track to being finished. But being a senior in HS coming towards the end of the year. My school work is more intense, and will soon (and is already) be overcome by college work, and a more involved job. I just cannot put the mods ahead of school like i did previously.

I feel really bad for doing this. I know alot of people will hate me for this as i got their hopes up for some new Jugs and Ponies. But i just cannot do it guys.

Fortunately, i found time here and there to peek in on you guys. And i like to think my original mods for smoke rubbed off on some people or inspired them. The 3d smoke mods are a beauty! And i see their is a team working on some new ponies aswell. So i made some impact on this community which is a accomplishment enough for me.

So what does the future hold for my work? Well the P-47C up for grabs to whoever wants it. (i will have the final say on who takes it and other specifics we will talk about) Just shoot me a PM. Do not ask for it in this topic.

No newbie modders will get this. This is for 2 main reasons. 1 my work is a mess lol, only some advanced users can figure out which files are which. and 2nd, it is a full new slot mod, so it has a FM editor, and a loadout/weapon editor.

Not much has been done except for the loadouts of which im proud of. They are very in depth, and historically accurate (will explain in detail to whoever wants it). It needs new 3d parts, a somewhat corrected FM, and some canopy opening work. Among other things

I have not touched those files in months, so even i forgot how things work.

So the final conditions for my mod are anyone will respectable modding experience can take it, and i will still have final decisions on the mods progress and release. Think of me as a advisor on the Jug.

I will start to play IL-2 again, and i will try to visit this forum regularly to check on whoever gets my mod, and answer questions the best i can.


Again im sorry for quitting on you guys, but school has to come first.

thirdeye....being a high school teacher I salute you for putting things in their proper order. We all appreciate that work you ahve done. I hope that someone will step up and take over your fine work you started. Stay in touch man, and graduate and do well in college.
