July 7 is the 188th day of the year (189th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 177 days remaining until the end of the year.
The terms 7th July, July 7th, and 7/7 (pronounced "Seven-seven") have been widely used in the Western media as a shorthand for the 7 July 2005 bombings on London's transport system.
In China, this term is used to denote the Battle of Lugou Bridge started on July 7, 1937, marking the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War.
Then 7th x2 gives the 14th of July, "prise de la Bastille" in France.
3rd of July night pass six is usual time when I have a blown-out tire, or my muffler quits, when travelling in the US. ( Always find a good Samaritan though... ). 4th is the day I can't find an empty seat in any restaurants. Then the sky's explodes... anywhere you are that very night !!!!
Overture 1812 by Tchaikovsky plays out in front of Capitol , even during the cold war years ( to commemorate the latest war with Canada it seems... ) Hope I don't start a new one this time!!! (...and visited Fort Henry/Baltimore last year, where the flag was born, cause of it):
Picture taken 7th july 2009 !!! Dam. I knew something was wrong !!!
Well, you asked.
( All of the above, totally true I'm afraid... :|)
