6dof question
#1

I have been using 6dof for a while now and love it. I have been wondering if it is possible to remove the switching to different views when I lean foward to check my instruments. When i fly in wide view as soon as I lean past a certain point I am locked into the next closest view and don't have a seamless transition going closer to the instrument panel. I have to hit the wide view key to get out of it It seems the 6dof has three distance settings instead of true 6dof like BOB 2 and CFS etc .I am using the most up to date version so am I just not using it correctly or is it a throw back of the game never being designed as a 6dof game?

Also , is there a lesson out there on how to use computing gunsites like on the Mustang and the Spitfire etc. How do you get them to work? I usually fly the 109 so I haven't really had the chance to try them properly.

Thanks for any help,

Ceege1.

Press the '*' on the numpad and while holding it down, press 0. That should eliminate the zoom problem.

Play close attension to the readme file that comes with the 6dof mod.. It's pretty extensive in it's explanation of the different keys and controls and all the different functions.
It's located in your main IL2 folder..

ceege the bombing controls double as the controls for the gunsites.Unfortunatly it doesnt say in the control panel option what button does what, but it'll tell you whats going on when you press the button in a plane with the computing sites so its a bit of hit and miss at first but you'll get the hang of it quickly.
