Yes go to the controls section and scroll down to gunner controls. The default is mouse left... I use my profiling software and I have the weapon 1 command set to a keystroke.. but I also went to gunner controls and just pulled my trigger... so I have joystick 1 on gunner controls... as well as the programmed keystroke.

You will still have to use the mouse to move the gun though.
