Would it be a feasible addition to the new planes that we already have, or are possibly on the way to modify the ordinance, so fuselage bombs drop seperately and not in pairs and rockets fire one at a time or all at once?
Realistic modelling of ordinance would help mudmovers greatly when you would have twice the amount of passes to make with what you got.
As I recall the Me-262 fired it's rockets one at a time long, long ago but now fires them all at once. This could help modify future projects.

I like that idea. I remember a great heli sim called GUNSHIP2000. In that game, for those of you that didnt play sims in the early 90's, you could change your rocket salvos from 2 to 4 and 6 at a time. It was really handy because light targets only needed 1 or 2 direct hits to be defeated, but heavy targets could take up to 10 hits and more. Now those rocket pods held 19 or 36 rockets(light and heavy loadouts), unlike IL-2 only loading 6 on most aircraft. But, I can see the benefit of firing all of them at once when targets are cluttered in one spot.

Well, i can't say i'm privy to Me262 tactics, but i was under the impression that me262's fired Rockets in a single salvo so that you had a deadly in effect high explosive buckshot for taking down large bombers. That is what the R4M was for -- taking down bombers. I do not know about the ground attack rockets such as the 60lb rockets on the tempest, but i rather suspect that they launched their rockets in twos like in the sim. Note you cannot choose to alternate between left and right wings when firing guns and cannons. And for the same point, i think most aircraft dropped bombs in pairs as well, if they were out on the wings. This is not the age of electronic weapons systems a la gunship2000. Dropping bombs in twos on heavy bombers, however, that i couldn't comment on.

The Me-262's R4M racks could actually be set to fire groups of six and groups of twelve rockets (as well as twenty-four).
I read this in a book a long time ago (don't remember the book unfortunately), and it might have only applied to the first few series (Of course, if this is the case, than it simply means that the definitive version would have fired all rockets and the version that was actually used could fire various sized salvoes).
It might be possible to have a selector that would allow dropping all bombs in one run. While it is possible to decrease salvo size or drop one bomb at a time, it requires adding extra fake hardpoints to trick the engine (and thus editing each stock aircraft separately). Technically, this would constitute a weapon edit.
P.S.
I believe that groups of eight rockets per wing are technically the most widespread in Il-2.

I like the idea. What we're really talking about though is a detailed modelling of the weapons release panel and weapons selection panel, which I don't think the il2 engine had envisioned. It just has simple weapon #1 and #2 and both together, bomb, rocket, gun pod toggle and jettison key assignments. I guess in this sense it walks the road of arcade gaming.
It'd be nice to see any mods enhancing weapon selection control for the pilot though, in any capacity. But to get a real simulation I get the impression we're talking about a whole new engine.
Something that is possible to do is a new slot Me-262A-1a with different loadouts: "R4M - 4 salvo", "R4M - 2 salvo" and "R4M - 1 salvo", respectively 4 salvo's of 6, 2 x 12 and 1 x 24.
Dont ruin all my suprises, I am going to try and get the rockets on the new P-51s to fire correctly. Pairs or
