P-47 & HVAR
#1

Reading through some books regarding the Allied Close Air support i hit some information regarding the P-47 using HVAR rockets. Though those were used in quite small scale in comparison to Typhoons it would be nice this option in game. Especially if we have even FW 190 with torpedo Smile

So my question is is there already such mod ? I know that there were some P-47 tuning already. If not is there someone willing to do it ?

Thanks in advance!

P-47 projects are in the works.

When UI1.3 is released in a couple months you will see a multitude of new plane versions.

Plane in the picture is either a P47-M or N model.
Both are currently slated for 1.3 (Hopefully).

The typhoons used the 60lb rocket, those are different to the U.S type HVAR.

Well the first use of HVAR is dated to mid 44 though in that time only 4x HVAR were used on P-47.

Also this source indicated that D versions of P-47 were capable of carring 10x HVAR: http://www.savagesquadron.com/USpage/USF...t_P47D.htm
