Like some others, the new, early P-38s don't want to work for me.
I was sure it was because I had corrupted files, and then , when I saw they had 1.2 out on a torrent site, I grabbed it and downloaded it for about the fifth time!
This time, finally, no error messages. Finally got a good one. Installed it , ran the sim .....still no early Lightnings!
Don't get it. Why would just one airplane not work? Doesn't really make sense. Maybe if you guys offer this as a seperate download it might fix it. Don't know, but can't figure out anything else that might work. Has anyone managed to fix this?

add relevant entries to air.ini, plane_ru.properties, and weapons_ru.properties
Copy/paste these entry texts from 1.2 STD folder

Make sure all 6 new P38 folders get put into MODS along w/ the new AAA_Weapons and US_Weapons folders
May have to rename AAA_Weapons to 0_Weapons. Just make sure it appears above your Files folder--the one w/ Effects

6 new P-38 files ???

I only count 5 new P38's in my UI 1.2 mods folder, and they are:
P38F-1
P38G-5
P38G-10
P38G-15
P38H-5

And all of mine work patched all the way up to 4.09 + UI 1.2. If there is a sixth new P38, which one is it ???

I think that six'st ist P38_ModCommon folder but for my new (early) P-38 not work too... :-?

There are only 5 new P-38's plus the P38_ModCommon folder. There was going to be a P-38E but it needed some minor 3D work before release. Not sure why yours are not working. Everyone else seems to have there's working just fine. Maybe a conflict with some other mod you've installed, if that is the case.

There will be another 5 or 6 more P-38's in the next patch. They are all pretty much complete. Just didn't get them done in time for the UI1.2 cutoff date.
