As one of my favourite planes in the sim, I'm requesting a number of small changes to weapons and loadouts to more accurately model the H series. I propose a new slot B-25H-5 / PBJ-1H-5
Loadouts additions:
Torpedo
2000lb bomb
Rockets plus bombs
Bombs released singly or train as per new B-25's
Same 50cal belting as per new B-25's
75mm cannon r.o.f. increased to 1 shot every 6 sec (10 rpm)
I have the Pilots Flight Operating Instructions For B-25H and PBJ-1H. This clearly states a torpedo or single 2000lb bomb may be carried, and that bombs can be released individually or train. I have no information on how many bombs the plane can carry in addition to rockets but reference is made to this loadout in Warpath Across The Pacific by L J Hickey, maybe someone else has some info here. As for the 75mm r.o.f, I have the film Winged Artillery from Zeno's which has combat footage of B-25G and B-25H's firing their cannon with a minimum time between shots of 5-6 sec as far as I can tell. The same pilots manual also says that B-25H-1's have twin 50cal side blisters on the right side only, B25H-5's and H-10's have 50cal blisters on both sides. Our current B-25H-1 appears to be a H-5. No external changes would be necessary.
