We have a tool to extract the data of a .sfs file. My question is:
Is it also possible to build a new.sfs file?

If this whould be possible we could create an official AAA-Patch. A Server than can say:

We are running with AAA-Patch 1.0 and Ckeck Runtime2 is on. So you have to use this patch if you want to join and nothing else.

You than can make SEOW events and you are nearly 100 percent secured against cheaters. (I never saw 1 single cheater, but a lot of mainstream pilots without mod think we are all cheaters :-D )

This patch whould look like one of the patches we all now from the "original" IL2. This patch based on a .sfs file is also very easy to install and to deinstall for "normal dying pilots" :-D

This was suggested way back in October, to no avail. I cannot remember the exact problem behind it but I believe it was a big enough problem to prevent this from happening...

But then again, that was another era, things have changed... so who knows?
