AAA Squad is old and if it is on here still it needs removing, You are in AAA Server area and Rolling Thunder =RT= is recruiting. I like to chat with all recruits on teamspeak and is a must. just to get to know the guy covering my six lol.

stansdds Wrote:I think part of the problem in executing a good hammerhead in a flight sim is the lack of situational awareness associated with sims. In a real aircraft you have a far wider field of view and you can feel what the aircraft is doing, desktop sims have no way of giving us this sort of experience.

I dont know man, perhaps you havent heard of "buttkicker" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8DGKh24qbU ... This thing really packs a punch..

tweak and isolate the engine sounds in IL2 sound settings, and this thing can really shutter when you start to stall or are low on airspeed... Tongue

So yes, I think we can make readings of whats going just like real aircraft... You just need to shell out the money for this hobby... Tongue

To get more stability making this turn you need to decrease a throttle, otherwise you'll get spinned. at least you will have a big chance for. Another hint, if you do not feel good your plane you could also use flaps, the most stable planes for this turn are bf109 (all of them), la5's (any), a6 and ki84's, the excellent one is p39, but if you get spinned you're dead Smile and p51 - this one can fly even inside out with a negative speed Smile not good are spitfire (you better use flaps all the time), fockwulf's, yaks

Well,to quote Gaby(famous us ww2 ace)
Quote:There are no mirracles, there are no born fighter pilots;some are a little better than others and thats abt it;i wuld say, time, training, training, and more training is the key,to any sucess Big Grin

Thats my way of saying,i will do that hammerhead, eventualy,or Gaby is talking nonsence-lol
But looking to his bio,he prob has a point there, coz he himself, before he has joined the war was almost kicked out of the usaaf becose of his piloting "skills"
