Idea for promoting new maps.
#1

I know that many of us now plays IL2 online with newly made maps, but I also know that much more people plays offline. Enjoining their free time wondering and exploring new maps.

So, what do you say if some of them could write some sort of review, like touristic or journalist reportage?

Like: "My Favorite Place in the Slot" or "Places to Fly over Slovenia" or "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Liberators over Libya" All together with some interesting screenshots.

I know it is kind of silly but I would read something like that Big Grin Any interested volunteers?

.... little outdated marketing tool , journals and stuff IMHO

i'd like to see promotion spots like on CNN .... representing important buildings and nature wonders on certain map etc.

.... and catchy slogans too , like: Slot , Pacific at its best !

There are still few of us who reads books, young man  ;dd

I agree, movies accompanying stories could do too. I was thought about screenshots, because it is much simpler. Something more WW2 style reportages. But if our "journalists" can do some movies, even the better Big Grin

Maybe just a thread where everybody is invited to post this sort of stuff (with or without screenshots, videos etc). I like the idea.

Yes, their impressions. Not is it corect or not, or reporting glitches. Just "it was great moment over Slovakia on one winter morning" Big Grin
