I need a hand. I installed UI 1.1, and sinse, I've been unable to open the Thailand or Philipines map.
Each time I try to open the maps in the FMB, IL-2 crashes. Also, I am unable to play any missions dowloaded for the maps. Before I have the UI 1.1, all was working fine, and I kept to all the readme and instalation instructions...

Can anyone enlighten me on what I might have missed?

Did you try the patch for UI.I? It's available at this site. It is supposed to correct things with the Thailand map and it did work - once! I had (have) the same problem; could not save missions with the Thailand map; then I installed the U.I.I. patch and it worked for a day; I donnot know what went wrong and I simply dropped it. Try it and you never know maybe this will work in your case

Got it working now... A re-install and the patch worked!
