Odd Problem with Retexturing Maps
#1

On certain maps, when i retexture them with other textures, I often have a problem which you can see in the images. There often appears to be some sort of texture showing up between other textures in a sort of geometrical pattern.

I've replaced line by line in the load.ini's of these retextured maps until I start seeing double, and I cannot find out which line in the load.ini is responsible for this. No matter which lines I replace, I just can't find what is causing this. I have replaced all lines having to do with landscape, and also those having to do with water and coast and the like, but nothing seems to get rid of that unseemly looking anomaly.

Any help, pointers, tips or info would be hugely appreciated.

Btw - the first 2 images are of the East Africa map, the 3rd image of the Zimbotho map.

This same problem occurs in different maps also. Sometimes it appears as a darker (unwanted and unlisted) texture surrounding waterlines. And yes, I have replaced and tried out various new replacements for all lines having to do with water and coastline and the like.
