Hi Dogtail2
.trk is next to useless , it will mostly cause different outcome if you play the track and
especially when using Accelerate Time x2/x4/x8 option during watching track .
Forget .trk recording by saving mission after playing .
Just like Rjel have said , it's more easy and quick to assigning keyboard key to Quick Start/Save Track
in controls setting and then just hit the key when your mission start and it will start recording automaticaly
giving name to track 0001 , 0002 , 0003.ntrk etc...........when you're done hit the key again and recording will stop .
One of the rules if you're recording track
.ntrk is trying to have as minimum game stutter or any unexpected
one seconds freeze/pauses as possible to prevent planes from jerking moves when playing recorded track .
Any stutter and unexpected one seconds freeze/pauses will have impact on smooth moving of planes causing
them to fly and moving in a bit jerking fashion when you will be watching recorded track .
Recording track have no FPS impact but once playing the track and recording with FRAPS for video editing ,
FRAPS have impact on FPS .
