I downloaded the F-86 mod and ran the automatic install. Tried to run the game and would crash at 60%. Previosly had spit Xiv and panther models intallled and working.

Changed the Air.ini file to the backup one and game boots but only have old airplane list. Help please....?

You didn't say what Mod Activator you have. You need at least U.I. v1.2 for the F-86.
In any case, you need updated buttons. Try the SAS ones.
