Hi all! I was just wondering what Jet aircraft are availible for download and also the status of W.I.P jet aircraft because I have browsed and seen some german Jets which I and Many other people want which have been worked on to one stage but most of them I think were cancelled which is a real Dissipointment.

Some of the jets Im talking about in Particular are:[WIP] Focke-Wulf Triebflugel---Lippisch P-13a---Junkers EF-130 WIP---Arado Ar E381 And I believe there are some other jets that i have seen before but I coulnt find them again. If there are anymore list them please.

If you want to see any of these planes just search for them on the site.

These planes will be a great adition to il2.

Most of these planes never saw the light of day or went much further than prototypes, therefore there is very little information on them making it hard to accurately model them ingame.

If you want to find out the status of these mods, send the modders a private message, but I wouldn't be surprised if many of these projects are dead.

Gloster Meteor F3 - WIP, possibly abandoned but either way won't be done for a while - Jolly

That should be most of them that you'll be able to find, there are few here and there like the Ar234 but with 4 engines etc but no one really knows much about what's happening on that. Info should be pretty accurate

What's the point of this thread?
We already know the WIP state of those planes, we know that REAL LIFE issues affect the making of mods.
And (you know i'm right) that these types of threads are going to bring those planes into existence, unless you start doing them by yourself.

As you can expect this is a hobby and there are no deadlines, no release dates to follow, no boss to be afraid of.

So, please, be patient and don't spam.

It's his first post on this forum be nice to him lol. Some people haven't been around that long and don't quite know what projects are going on and what exactly is happening to them. I don't think he meant it in that way, he just wants to know what's going on, after all if you just joined the forum and there are so many pages of each wip thread jet related it'd take hours to read them all

Well said Raptor. It's amazing how alive this game is - because new people come in all the time. I actually found this thread useful, as Raptor has provided a useful summary here of the status of jet projects. As a mission builder writing missions for jets, this is really useful info for me, let alone those experiencing the life changing awakening that is this game.

I agree with the comments about hobby/release dates/no boss (hurrah)/, but let's just appreciate what an amazing thing we have here and welcome new people who are just as enthusiastic as those of us who queued up to buy CFS 1.

Ah well that is unfortunate

AAA are already behind on the release date of 1.2 anyway should of been released around 3 weeks ago, early to mid august... so by the time they do put it together a few more things may well be in it.

oh and also anyone looking for some F-84 and F-86 skins, I will be releasing some more tonight

I doubt it is even in the works still, no updates, RL issues to deal with and several other more wanted projects.

Luft 46 isn't big among the community and they would rather spend time making Real planes that actually were atleast prototypes.

However I'm a luft 46 person and would love to see them aswell.
