Hi guys, good work on the Pe-8 Will it be possible to relocate the cockpit much more back, I have the feeling that it is currently too much forward than what he should be. :oops: Thanks.

hi - you say much more back but its only like 3 feet to far forward to get these cockpits to fit its the only way - but remember its only a tad more forward :wink:

i position the cockpits and was aware of the position and yes it is slightly forward by too much, unfortunately i cannot reduce it any more without affecting the view. Thank you for the observations

It's the same problem for B29? After some tests, I saw that the position of our pilot's seat is on the point of the nose, here:

i have used the cross on the ground to check where the cockpit is. I have moved the pilots head/camera so that the center of the screen is dead center where the ai pilot's head/eyes sit, the cockpit used to be way out in front and i have reduced it as far back as i can (2 3rds of way back than what it was) , the pilot/camera sits off to the left slightly and at the very front. If i positioned the cockpit any further back then you would see inside the mesh of the cockpit and would look terrible.
you guys aint half picky lol if you spot any more problems with planes let us know.

About the Top gunner position in the Pe-8 I've watched the gunner autopilot control the turret and I can see that the turret can turn 360 degrees so could we have a fix which will let us turn it 360 degrees? Sorry I don't have a picture of it, I took one but I accidently overwrited it when i took another one of something else a minute ago....
