Mosquito with bombsight comming soon - we are putting a bombsight onto the Mk IV as this is historicaly correct & will be releasing it tonight or tomorrow

problem with recent version just released with the bombsight

max airspeed of the russian bombsight is 350kpm the mosquito can cruise much faster (400K+).

max airspeed of US bomb sight 450 mph.

max airspeed of he-111 bombsight is 600kph

Max airspeed of the arado jet bomber sight is 900kph

Unfortunately the slowest bomb sight was chosen for the mosquito.
Perhaps another sight can be used in furture versions.

no worries, you have a lot on your plate and a rapidly growing "to do" list. All of your efforts have added much time to the life of the sim. If you were in my town, you'd drink for free.

Chk it out now you now have max Bombsight speed at 520kph

Thanks a plenty for that and I will use it a great deal fo pathfinder missions


just wondering if it is possible to substitute the simple Pe-2 bombsight for the more complex and accurate bombsight as used in the B-25 He-111 Ar etc, pathfinders had to place bombs with great accuracy.

for a manual drop i have found that with the Pe-2 bombsight you can work with 0.25 of a degree and deliver bombs more "on the money". but if you wan a bombsight automation then thats another story, i like this sight, the sight guides you whilst you are not on level stabs, it keeps you level, thanks MrJolly am sure everyone appreciates what you do, just exciting and demanding. :wink:
