guys im doing the Nakajima B5N2 Kate with cockpit but im wondering wether this plane had a bombsight ? also im stuggling with a cockpit for it - so far i can only really use the ki-100 cockpit

It was a level bomber... so it needs a sight.

Mr. Jolly, sir.... the Kate had a bombsight in the second seat before the gunner. What and how can you do that is a mystery (sp?). I think maybe the Val pit and gunner would be the best if you are able to do.

I'd say add a bombsight, but historically I don't think it's right to have the Kate have the equivalent of a Norden Bombsight, Perhaps you could give it the TB3 Bombsight? It should be a rough approximation of what the Japanese used for their fighter/bombers.

EDIT:Did some research and it seems the Pe-2 Bombsight is the more historically accurate bombsight, My apologies.

i saw the B5n2 released mod post on the forum this night for a short time and

just, i dont understand why a Il-10 rear turret gunner have been used as the Kate haven't got any turret at the rear ?
an Aichi D3A val rear gunner isn'it better ?

ran into some problems with kate, she's feisty

sorry guys, she will have to wait awhile...in the meantime, other types will of course be on the way, and with othrr developments going on here at AAA, it should prove to be lotsa fun this week
