There are a few maps now that have been modded, would it be possible for someone to compile them all in one easy to install map pack please?

I have followed all the instructions and managed to install some maps, however some others do not show, and i am a bit confused as to where i am going wrong.

I appreciate this is all quite easy for a lot of people, but for myself, i find all this messing with certain files is getting me in a tangle.

There was talk of all maps being posted on the mods download forum, but so far only fly_zo has posted his Normandy maps there (thanks fly_zo). Please don't take this as a moan, its just that some of us are not quite as confident or knowledgeable as others with editing files.

Appreciate any help, and thank you all for your great efforts in modding this game

Hi slipper, these are important thoughts! I've been thinking for a while about the easy way for the user but didn't reach any conclusion. There are also some other problems (than simply installing mod maps) that me and others see connected with modified maps. I'll start a thread about these matters, see what we can come with.

Imho we should start to compile a map mod pack, its content should limit to those map mods which are currently ready or at least its an enjoyable upgrade compared to the original.
I can provide vp_Balaton(summer), vp_Online MTO(2 versions) and vp_Lvov(summer).
Who will compile the pack and write the all.ini?

I continue my old maps relooking.

I have recreated Kursk map, with new relief, new texture adjunction to be realistic.
I had textures, forest, hills ... :

- CRIMEA x4 summer/autumn/winter/spring (mud)
- FINSLAND GULF x2 spring/autumn
- KUBAN summer
- LVOV autumn
- MOSCOW summer
- SMOLENSK summer
- STALINGRAD summer

B. fully new maps (with new relief and new adding textures)

- KURSK summer
- PROKHOROVKA summer

Hi RONE, very nice maps!!!

How did you obtained a smooth effect between summer and winter textures? i tried something similar with Smolensk map but gave me a seesaw effect, not good to see...
