Maybe soon we will be seeing mods like those. I'd like to think so Wink

The only things ive discoverd that can be edited with the objects is the ability to create new veichal coloums, the possibility of re-skinning ships and another possibility, the ability to edit the damage on stationary objects.

Oh, one thing i forgot. Checking one of the object files the other day, the ships one has the parameters for the range of the guns on all ships & how much damage they can sustain, i think.

well in only a month or so every aspect of the game has been modded one way or another ... so, it will come soon enough ... sky is the limit ( he he until it gets modded)

I was under the impression new stuff, for example a new ship, couldnt be added in 4.08 by us. Is there hope that i am wrong?

I don't think new ships can be added...there is someone playing about trying to re-skin the existing ships....which is interesting if it works

on the same lines....... would it be possible to take (as an example) the Generic battleship.....and make several copies of it and re-name them....then in a mission we could say 'attack the Cochima'.... and if the attack waypoint was 'set' to it...when we run our pointer over the icon on the map ...it would say destroy cochima...instead of just destroy battleship

really just having copies of the existing ships...but with different names....much as the escort carriers are now


....just some thoughts
