Hybrids... New planes!

Mates, as some of you had discovered a way to mix some plane parts, a new breed of hybrid crates emerged. There goes some ideas for new and mod planes to come. Add yours too!

* Seafire IB - Spit Vc airframe + Seafire FIII hook + Spit Vc cockpit
* Seafire IIC - Spit IXc airframe + Spit Vb nose + Seafire FIII hook + Spit IX cockpit
* Potez 631 - Me 110C airframe + PE-2 tailplane and wings + Fiat G-50 engines + Me 110G cockpit
* Tempest MkII - Tempest V airframe + La-7 nose + Tempest prop + Tempest cockpit + Gyrosight
* Martlet III - F4F-4 airframe + F4F-3 wings + F4F-3 cockpit
* Martlet IV - F4F-3 airframe + F4F-4 wings + F4F-4 cockpit
* F4U-4 - F4U-1D airframe + P-47D prop
* F4U-4B - F4U-1C airframe + P-47D prop

I think that this mods are quite easy to do for the experts. Hope you guys take that work!! Cheers! :lol:

For Seafire II.C it would be better to use V.B model just because it had nonsymetrical radiators.

Tempest => (The link is inoperative)
F4U-4 => viewtopic.php?p=13711#13711

Seafire and Spitfire V&IX that are two different models. Look on skins.

Wouldn't these hybrids fall under the "altered FM" category. which is a no no? I mean... a F-4U with a P-47 prop... wouldnt that change a few things about the way it performs?

Sorry if I am nasty, but most of these mods will not be at all realistic.Jolly will never accept anything non-realistic as I have realised the few days that I am posting here.The only realistic mods that I can think of are of the G-14/AS (using a G-6/AS/U4 as standard configuration with G-14 cockpit and wings) , G-6 Late/MW50 (using a G-14 FM with MG151/20 as standard and a G-6 Late skin) and an non-Vokes Vc (A hybrid of Vb FM with Vb fuselage coupled with Vc wings and loadout)

Even the Tempest Mk II is not simple as you might think, because the damage model (at least) needs to be altered.You don't want to fly a mission and then suddendly to have a damaged radiator...

Possibly a Fw 190G-8 will be easier to make, (but still a lot of work) however let's see if and when a mod will appear that will increase the number of available slots first.

I'm not the expert, but I think the changes are only visual (like the usual "skinning a SB-2 to make a Ki-48"). The hybrid substitute a plane in the game and use its FM and DM. For example, the "Typhoon" is a substitute to the game Tempest and use Tempest DM and FM.

Editing models dont mean edited FM

That discussion ended.

If you think about it where changing the models, not the FM in any way.

Just asking... You know me.. if I don't know I ask.... I guess like the LOMAC plane mods right? I think there was a f-16 mod that put a F-16 skin on an F-15.. or was that the other way around?
