We have no bombs in Ju-52. It's a pity, because the Ju-52 was used as well as a bomber (In Spanish Civil War at least). There are tons of pictures of Ju-52 bombing. The Pipistrello was as well a bomber-transport neary equal to Ju-52.
If We had bombs in Ju-52, with a hack-skin We would have the SM-81 as well....But We can't touch the weapons.

I would like to expand a bit more on the use of the MOVING 'TB3 little wind propellor'.



Ok, we know & accept that we do not want touch the FM's.

However if we could 'work out' how this little 'wind prop' works, maybe, just maybe we could insert it 'inside' any engine cowling, but modified to move a 'big prop'!!

This would mean that the fm's have not been touched, 'twin engined' bombers would still be 'twin engined' bombers & we could stick this 'third engine' with a moving prop, wherever we wanted and create italian or other 3 engined aircraft/bombers.

Here are some ideas of what we could do with a 'false' but visually pleasing moving engine:







Unfortunatley, I have absolutley no idea about how to mod, but i think that if a modder works this one out, it could be a very intresting & fruitfull mod, for everyone.

Yes, it could be very interesting, if it can be applied... I also haven't any idea if it could be possible or not. Once it has been made working, it's only a matter of time to obtain a Do-24 from a PBN-1...
Anyway, I'm hoping that some good guys will made this mod soon, moving propeller or not (better moving...).
The whole Italian players community is waiting for a bomber from years and years...

:? Ju-52 had a too different FM from Italian bombers like SM.79 or CZ.1007bis, the closest one could be Il-4 itself, although they had a stronger defensive armament.
So, if it could be possible to add a third fake engine, with moving propeller or less, to Il-4, and eventually change shapes of tail and wings, we could be :mrgreen: ... 8)
If I knew how I'd try by myself, but I'm not a modder, so I've to wait for it. Once we could have it, as I've already made an 'hack' skin for a 1943 SM.79 torpedo bomber, I'll make another one for a CZ.1007bis. :wink:

For fvk: G.50 and MC.200 had a really different engine cowling, better to add another Il-4 one similar to previous other 2. Both Italian bombers above had 3 identical cowlings.

HI,

We have to understand that at this stage of the game we cannot expect to get a 100% real looking italian bomber. The IL 4 has a great similiratity & with the correct skins & an engine in the nose is probably very achievable, very soon!
We are requesting a moving engine if possible but if this is impossible, the engine cowling with the removed prop blades would be very nice & better than nothing, until something better comes along. :wink:

Is there a modder looking at this?

Looks great from a distance Ranwers, but it's a shame about the fuselage mismatch. Maybe you could replace the front fuselage with that of the smaller Ki 27 bomber?

It looks out of doubt great...

But maybe that Betty, or other Japanese bombers, and Alcione had too different FMs and DMs.
For now, if you can release sooner or later an Il-4 with a third engine, similar at one you've previously posted, I'll be glad and eternally grateful ...
