anyone having this problem it might be Destruction Mod incompatibility

Found this old post "Cant save missions 4.09 in FMB"

sounds like you have the 'destruction mod' installed..... delete the 'files/com/maddox/il2/objectsstatic.ini' line from your filelist

Deleted the line 'files/com/maddox/il2/objectsstatic.ini' and all is well.

Thanks fabianfred where ever you are!

That was a problem with the OLD destruction mod which was in the old Files folder system....it first came out before 4.09bm.....so it didn't have the slovakia objects in it....the NEW one does...and is a part of the wrapper MODS file system

Thanks again fabianfred.

Rgrt on the new destruction mod

It was about time I did some file clean up in my il2 mod folder.

Have not spent allot of time with new objects or maps so didn't realize they weren't there.

DOH!

I have a problem.
I installed in this order:
1-Mod activator
2-Wrapper
3-AC INstaller
4-Mod Pack
5-B17
6-Tu2
7-Map Pack
8-Malta

All using installer .....
I see all maps in FMB, even Malta, but when I try to load I get this error message:
World.land().LoadMap()error.java.lang.RuntimeException:Landscape'mrz_Malta/mrz_load_medium.ini'loading error

is this some sort of .ini thing I need to change ?

Yes, it was: 4.09b1m ?
Although since installing the mods it comes up as 4.08 on the splash screen ?
Do I need to reinstall beta patch ?

Why would it revert ?

install the mod switcher before deleting anything or re-installing

switch from 408/408mods/409/409mods

(The link is inoperative)

OK, I will delete install.
Copy over another 4.09beta version and install the activator, wrapper, and ac installer, then add each mod until I find the problem.

I can remember loosing it once after an install when I saw in the splash screen 'version 4.08 mods enabled' Thinking I'd lost 4.09b.. but then realised like a pratt, that in the 'other' corner of the splash screen it stated I had the 4.09b version!!! DOH!

No .. the MOD splash screen has the version 4.08 on the right as part of the splash ... the actual version is to the left, just above where the %'age load is .. this one said 4.08 after Mod install also ...
I've re-imaged the beta version over, and will step by step the mods installs and check to see where the revert happens.

I'm not doubting you mate, just passing comment when I had a 'stupid' moment the last time I re-installed.. nearly gave myself a heart attack!

OK ... problem is Mod Activator.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong ?

that is the first .exe to run, correct ?

When I run this, it takes it back to 4.08
