Object 569 (warehouse) skin request
#1

I think this is an object which can be very useful to have in different skin variants, representing diferent types of ware maybe diferent types of roof. This warehouse is a good object to use on airfields as well as factories or military camps. Just that we have only one variant, also this variant has colors which jump into the eye, so if you see it everywhere on maps you'll start wondering what is that "agresive" brown ware stuff which humanity produces all around the world hehe. What do you think? also it would be nice to start talking about what FMBobjects would be useful to have with sevral skins..

Ok - wrong warehouse, but 569 is a bicycle. Do you mean 566 - the open sided shed ?

Maybe the "factory house" 64

Fisneaky, I'm very very happy seeing this screens!!!

These variants of the old factory houses will greatly enhance variation of industrial areas, harbors or airfields! Any chance of download? !!
As for "my" warehouse, yes it's the open-sided shed, I made a mistake with the number because I forgot that long ago I added myself some tree variants, so the object number got bigger then default.

Care to point me to the object cloning thread.

Also, anyone know where to find tga for "566"- shows promise as an empty shed too!

Not sure what you mean by "object cloning thread"? Anyway cloning this category of objects is very easy, as FC told us some time ago Big Grin His thread is on the map forum and contains the word "beer" in title
The tga's for 566, I'll look for it next days, hehe, it would be cool to have the empty shed, then just place those ammo boxes and so on. Yeah, very nice idea!

Fisneaky as promised: here's how to get all files pertaining to the warehouse object:

Add to the filelist.txt of the sfs extractor the following lines

3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/live.sim
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/dead.sim
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/base.mat
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/live.msh
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/dead.msh
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/skinHi.tga
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/skinMid.tga
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/skinLo.tga
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/skinHi.mat
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/skinMid.mat
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/skinLo.mat
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/damageHi.mat
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/damageMid.mat
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/damageLo.mat
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/damageHi.tga
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/damageMid.tga
3do/Buildings/46/Warehouse/damageLo.tga

Then open with sfs extractor the fb_3do17.sfs archive

You'll have then all files listed above extracted.
