Just saw this

Actually I did select S3TC, forgot to mention it. The map I have been using is whichever one the QMB+ missions were written for- I don't have much experience using FBM. I think it's the latest map, historically, of the set, since it shows quite an extensive complex of fields around the original Henderson.
Since we're on the subject of missions, would any kind soul like to create a simple set of QMB+ missions to allow the use of all the slot maps in QMB+?
The one we have now is fun but it does have the front lines set up backwards...

Guess its outta my league again! lol

I'm sorry, I misspoke (miswrote?) I meant to say a complete set of missions for QMB+ for use with the slot maps.

I never use the QMB except to try a skin or new plane

I like to use quick mission builder for recurrency training or just a hop around the patch, or carrier landings. Thus using both sides for F4U and A6M training.

It amazes me what I have forgotten in the past few months about the MODs for adding them. All the different files that need to be modified. I just cant remember how to do it and the forum is just too vast for me to relearn it...lol

I agree the Munda mission is real well done, but you need at least an hour to fly it.
I've been trying to set up some simple airstart quick missions fir airfield attack but I keep getting the old "wrong target selected" message. I've spent a lot of time reading and rereading the posts on using QMB+ but all I've been able to do so far are "None" missions for dogfighting and intercepts.

Thats what I like about it. The nice thing about off line play is that there is a pause button! I also hit the auto button for a kitchen break or bathroom break....or any other break. Yes, I am also guilty of hittim the time warp keys too :oops:

BTW In regards to the Munda Mission taking an Hour....

Use Time Skip, and Autopilot and you will be over the target in less then 5 minutes time IRL.

Some of the Missions in my VMF-213 campaign take you from Henderson to Kahili. That would take Forever with out time skip.

PS the Fuel capacity of the F4U AMAZES ME! Kahili and back to Henderson No tanks, No Problem!!!

PBY Coastwatcher Rendesvous Mission done, and on filefront, will be on AAA tonight when I get home.

P.S. its the first mission of my VMF-213 campaign and has the pilot assigned to S.C.A.T. (Solomons Combat Air Transportation) flying PBY's before his Transfer to Marine Fighter Squadron 213 in Espiritu Santu.
