So I've tweaked a bit a small mod I was using to improve the blood splatters when Highgore=1 is set in conf.ini. This mod pretty much replaces the original blurry red splatter with some "ok" blood splatter.
I've also tweaked the color (slightly darker) because IMO it looks better than bright red. If you read the README inside the mod there are instructions on how to change it.

How to install it: pretty easy, unzip the folder inside MODS folder

Also please share any aircraft blood effects you add (you'll understand this when you read the README, if you read it, that is )

Post screenshots if the new blood looks like crap in any plane so I can fix it.

Hey, this is a bit odd... So originally IL2 had the high gore setting, then somewhere along the way, it was removed for the ones sold in the USA anyway... So with the mod scene, I saw it had come back (by way of the russian exe I presume)... anyway, so I put this mod in, and now the gore is gone again!? I see the pilots slumped, including in the 109e, which I know had it before.... maybe a conflict with another mod?

Excellent stuff! Does this extend to all AC? Orginally it only worked on several select planes.

Maybe what I should ask is, can it be modified to show on all aircraft?

Erm u do realise if ur killed then u can't see anything.....lol
