I speak about STATIC.INI, not AIR.INI.
Don't touch in AIR.ini !!!

Well I think I thought for at least a moment, thank you... but, LAL_Rone said in the first thread he started about these hangars that he will make the text on the buildings ilisible so it wouldn't matter which side you put it. More than that... most of them don't have text just some cammo.

As for the default ones... sure they look good Big Grin... I am at work now but, I can post some screenshots if you like when I go home.

And finally... The buildings that initially weren't hangars could have been made new buildings separately and the old ones reskined...

LAL_Rone, don't get me wrong, you have created very beautiful skins (err buildings) but they will fell in oblivion as most of us fly existing campaigns (most of us are not very good at FMB or don't have the time, etc) or are using the default airfields with the default buildings around them that look... "gorgeous" :lol: .

...just my opinion. :roll:

... same with me, since I only "fly" offline and I don't know how to use the rather "unfriendly" user FMB, unless mission builders out there create misions and campaigns using R-One's new hangars, we, "regular" folks, will never see them ... Cry

Could someone please post his static.ini for exemplification, I don't seem to be able to make this work.

My static.ini adress is: G:\IL-2 1946\MODS\com\maddox\il2\objects\static.ini

I added the indicated lines just before the:

...which is the end of file indicator I suppose...

and nothing.

I don't have static.ini duplicates in MODS folder... I have checked.

These lines are not readed by IL2. It's just annotation for programmers.
Don't worry about these lines.

It is really good work Rone, But I too have some problems.

I have done everything exactly as it is written in the read me, and here is where my static.ini is:

C:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects

But I still can't see new objects in FMB, I see empty places, but no objects. Anyone with some explanation? With trains it is all OK.

Hey Avala, you solved my problem!!!

My path was:

G:\IL-2 1946\MODS\com\maddox\il2\objects\static.ini but, it should have been:

G:\IL-2 1946\MODS\something\com\maddox\il2\objects\static.ini

And I see them all now... and the cars and the trains!!! yupeee!!!

Found it.

"Destruction_effects" mod was guilty party, simulation read it before "STD" folder, and it also has static.ini. I have put Rone's datas there.

Yes, be careful.

Add the lines (included in Read Me file) at the end of YOUR Static.ini.

If you use a mod (like destruction mod) which already have a static.ini, use this file !

You must have only ONE static.ini.
