Ok, followed a directions to install and it now loads up to 60% and crashes. Any ideas?

Hi Darkstar - I'm kinda new myself and had the same issue. If you installed the Eng Sound Mod make sure you install/reinstall the wrpper.exe and the AC installer v.2.2. The AC installer will install and then ask you what Mod version you installed. You need to pick the Sound Mod and it should get past the 60% load issue. Also another fix that I read was to go to the IL2 Setup.exe in your IL2 1946 folder and set the sampling rate to 44100.

Again - I'm new to all this (about 2 weeks now) but that worked for me.
