Curious why you want to adjust? I've noticed that external gun sounds are louder than my own! Not sure what mod caused this, but its odd.... Do you get the same thing?

the files are in the files folder in the subfolder samples.

if anyone gets the right tune up for sounds post it pls

The reason I was asking is because at first I thought the tempest engine sounds were drowning out the sound of the Tempests cannons but after removing the Tempest sounds (going back to the original sound mod) I still couldn't hear them very well so I figured if I could find the wav files for the cannons I could use my computers recording program to make the cannon sounds louder.

Thanks for the update... I'm pretty sure the volume should be adjustable somewhere without re-recording, I just don't know how to do it. I might need to start from scratch and see what broke the sounds (hoping someone has the answer for this before I have to do it).

I have the same issue. After a complete reload, one step at a time, I have installed sounds as follows (excepting the ENG sound Mod SFX 6 which was done in the "proper" place in the full mod install :

Now all the sounds are there and the correct ones, but the gunfire volume level is but a whisper of the engine sounds.

If anyone can direct how to adjust volume, I'd appreciate it.
