Hi guys, just for debating I have a dire need for my two favorite wishes since il2 has been out:

1, Can we please reshape the bulges of the Bf-109G-6 + later models? Even the K-4 or G-6AS never had such a big loading in front of it. Especially the upper part has been grossly overdone ever since maybe due to earlier poly limits. Who knows...
Would it affect 6DoF properties of their cockpits. If no I beg anyone capable of doing such modification to go ahead.

2, Similar problem with the FW-190A var. front. The radial ai- intakes between spinner and armour ring shown in Il2 differ too much from what photographs or replicas hold true. Right now the Fw "has its mouth too wide open". You guess what I mean.

These would be 3D changes only, I'm not promoting a speed gain or ruggedness discussion. A/C envelopes are just ok with me.

Anyone to support that idea?

Wondering a lot. Everybody satisfied with the looks of the two most chosen planes in Il2?

We can dump that idea anytime, but when it's possible to create a superb Sea Fury by simply re-meshing the nose? Any modeller can be sure it will be one of the most percepted pieces of work in Il2 moddisng history. Even in target role :wink:

...kay. :? Thought myself to be a somewhat half-witted forum-checker. Being used to minor mods on planes shapes (Antennas, canopies) I supposed only cockpits made up from scratch should be hard to do. Thanks for the insight, th!rdeye.

I'm hoping for the makers of the 190A-3 to return at least the Wurger A-4 to-9 some of its grace.
